Netball News Letter August 2008.
To all members of Bossley Sports Club Inc 2008.
A big thankyou to all the players, Coaches, Umpires and supporters for 2008. Who would have known that 15 rounds of Netball would go by so quickly with round 15 being this Saturday 23/08/2008. Congratulations to all members of Bossley sports Club inc for 2008 your support has been tefferric for everyone involoved within the club. To the teams who have not made it through to the finals series thank you for representing the club with pride and good sportsmanship. I don’t know if everyone know’s within the club but all our teams were so successful last season that all our competitive teams has been re-graded this season in higher grades and a lot harder competition. So to the teams who have not made the finals everyone should been congratulated on great season and we all hope to see you all but next year supporting the club with the same pride you all displayed this season.Thankyou to all the Coaches for sharing your knowledge and giving up your time this season. To our club’s umpires with out you no games could take place so thank you for your time and committtement to every team you have helped with your support this season.
Fundraisier: All chocolate money is due this Saturday 23/08/2008 all coaches please make sure it has being handed as this money goes towards presentation if the members do have their money this weekend it is your responsibilty to collected the funds or chocolates and to be handed into Cheryl or Jennie.
Coaches: All equipment has to be in straight after your last game this season so a stocktake can be taken for the AGM in November 2008. Your team report, best and fairest, most improved, and all other nominations for the club trophies has to be handed in straight after your last game for the year book for 2008.
Presentation 2008:
Date: Sunday 02/11/2008
Time: 2.30 pm for a 3.00 pm start.
Venue: St Johns Panthers Club located at Brisbane Road, St Johns Park.
After presentation there will time to order new bodysuits, to nominate for Positions within the club, coaches, assistant coaches for 2009. Also registration for players with a $50.00 deposit as all the district costs have not been finalised for 2009.
Non Competitive teams continue playing until the 06/09/2008. With a presentation afterwards.
Representative Players:
Congratulations to all the players who tried out for representative teams in 2008. The 11 years development squad for 2008 the players were Laura Arena, Naomi Carle, Jessica Dalmati, Alessandra Rigoli, Selene Turner and Teale Vella. With Laura Arena and Naomi Carle making through to the next development step in Team 1 for 12 years Representative Squad with final selections in February 2009..
Gabriella Di Grazia was selected in the 13’s years Representative Team and playing at Maitland in the State Age Championship division for 2008. Gabriella has now been selected in the development squad for the 14 years Representative Squad for 2009 with final selections in February 2009..Mallorie Jansen being selected in NSW Academy Team, Division 2 State League team and the u17’s State championship Representative sides for 2008.
Final Series Information: All coaches will have to attend a meeting at my place on Thursday 28/08/2008 at 8.00 pm to receive your cards for the players, all information for time keepers, scorers and crowd controllers from each team all other coaches are welcome to attend so we can discuss presentation as well. If you can not attend please advice Cheryl.
The teams that have been successful so are 12’ years, Division 5 and Division 6.
There are two teams fighting it out this weekend for a final postilion in the final series they are the 11’ years and the Mixed Competition.
Please all club member’s lend your support to all the above team’s in the coming final series for 2008.

This year ST Johns Panthers at ST Johns Park have sponsored our Club, members over 18 to join the club the cost will be $ 5.50 a year (when joining and filling out the paperwork just let the club know you are from Bossley Sports Club) or every time you attend the club.
