Support of all members:
If everyone can lend a hand or even just support each team like they did last season it brings everyone together it makes for a very enjoyable season. With everyone’s enthusiasm last season the club was awarded the Club of the Year for 2008 from Fairfield City District Netball Association. Thankyou for all your support many hands make light work.

Games: Round 1
It was great to see all the teams starting to play last week even if there were tears every one played brilliantly and you are all superstars.

Uniforms will be in for the 3rd Round of Netball. 3-5-2008.
Opening Ceremony for Fairfield City District Netball will be held on the 3-5-2008 in between the 10.00 am – 11.30 am there will be a March by for all the members to show their support towards the district as district is trying to get funds to up grade the courts and there will be important people attending from government departments who they trying to obtain grants from. This is important and as a club we should look united and show our support. So all coaches organise your teams and mascots.

Umpires:
Umpires are a very big important part of a club because no team can play a game without an umpire, so at every game where we have a team to take the court we have to provide an umpire from our club. As like last season we are in need of umpires every competition team needs to have a least 3 umpires nominate from their team to umpire during the season to make light work even with 3 umpires nominating this means they will have to umpire at least 5 games during season so the more we have the less pressure we have to put on everyone, otherwise a player will have to come of their game and umpire instead of playing please help, with all the new and young umpires will have a runner to help them out. Otherwise teams might have to be dropped. Last season we had a lot of members who put up their hands and they only had to umpire a couple games during the season please lend your support.

Raffle Tickets for Marconi:
All tickets are due back this Saturday the 12/04/2008 please contact all your players and collect all the money and hand the money in by the last Round on Saturday afternoon as it needs to be passed on to Marconi to show our support.
Sponsors:
The netball code is looking for sponsors in the form of Teams sponsors like last year with their support every player in the club received a club tracksuit with the sponsor name on it. This season we only have 2 team sponsors so far and we were hoping from the last coaches and managers meeting last season to be a to have team sponsor’s to provide all the new players to club with a club tracksuit with the sponsor name of it and all the other players who have a tracksuit if a team sponsor change the new sponsor would have their name put on the old jacket and we also wanted to purchase or all the teams with equipment to be able to be used at training so each team would have their own equipment with coaching aids. The cost is $550.00.
Umpiring sponsor this is the most important sponsor for the netball code so we can give all the umpires a bit of pocket money so can they can still enjoy their chosen sport and not work on Saturdays, instead no team can take the court without an umpire we really need to support for all our umpires. The awarded umpires would receive a white shirt to umpire in with the sponsor or sponsor’s name on it and we would be able to keep on educating our umpires with courses and up dating on their skills. The cost last season just to support the umpires was around $2,000.00 please help with your support.
The last sought of sponsor is a business sponsor who would have their business cards on display on a Saturday and their business would be advertising in the Newsletter given to every member the cost is $100.00.
All sponsors would be advertised in our Newsletter and at presentation if they have a sign or banner it can be shown on display at the netball courts on a Saturday. Please contact Cheryl.
To all the sponsors who have offered there generosity this season could you please hand in your art work for the tracksuit jack suit jackets as well we do need your money as soon as possible. Cheques are payable to Bossley Sports Club.

Most of all the junior Teams have a sponsor.

Wetherill Park Branch is a sponsor for Soccer and Netball all they would like the members to do is, if you are need of a house loan please try them, for any loan taken out by our members we receive also a commission.

This year Panthers at ST Johns Park have sponsored our Club, members over 18 to join the club the cost will be $ 2.20 a year (when joining and filling out the paperwork just let the club know you are from Bossley Sports Club) or every time you attend the club.
